I heard you singing Egredimini filiae sion on "One God" . Beautiful! dissolved me to tears.
Robert, you have made me a deeper fan of opera and the skill at which you interpret the music and lyrics. Masterful. I take voice lessons as a preacher, but some of the greatest sermons I have heard, come from you. Bravo. Hope you come to sing in Washington DC!
I heard you today on NPR, checked out your website, and am thoroughly and utterly blown away by your talent. I will be following your career, and I expect nothing but success from you! Good luck with your PhD studies.
I listed to your interview on NPR. Your singing is absolutely stunning. BTW, I heard you sing in the early 90s at Jason and Sharon Fargo's wedding in Mississippi.
I heard you sing at the Bath Abbey this last weekend, and it was utterly amazing! We were truly moved by your singing.
Tiefsten Dank für das wunderschöne Konzert gestern abend in der Bruckener Kirche zusammen mit Julia Gillich-Naroschnaja. Ich bin immer noch tief berührt.
I just came back from a really outstanding evening at the Prinzregententheater, Munich.
All of the artists - singers, orchestra, scenery - worked together great and obviously had fun themselves. But still a special thank you to your playing and singing with this young and promising team. What a wonderful evening!
Hi Robert! Just heard from youtube your performance of "Lascia ch'io pianga". I am really impressed by your gorgeous voice. Keep going and I'd like to see your performance someday.
Good morning Robert,
thank you for a wonderful much too short recital in Schwäbisch-Gmünd on Sunday morning.... how can you sing so subtely at this time in the morning?! Looking forward to hearing you in the summer in the Augustiner church, booked tickets straight away after hearing you. I wish you a good time in Germany, I have been living here for 32 years now, initially from Britain and I am still not german-enough to understand all going on ... for eg. some of the german translations of english terms like take-away coffee!!!... thank goodness for music! Have a nice day,
Thanks very much Lynda! Actually I rather like singing in the morning--oddly enough. I hope you enjoy the concert in the Augustiner this summer! Please come up and introduce yourself afterward, if you'd like!
Hi Robert, I very much enjoyed listening to your singing on this site. I'm very fond of Carissimi's Jephte. The recording I have is of the Gabrieli Consort and Players. See you again soon at church!
What an extraordinary treat to discover you on YouTube via your rendition of "Lascia ch'io pianga"!
Congratulations, Dr. Crowe, on your defense. I do hope you will now be freed up to perform widely more often and expect to see you here in New York at Carnegie Hall very soon. I'll be looking forward to that!
Complimenti on your remarkable gift!
